Lichia 3

Dr Lichia Cheong Chiropractor

B.Sc (BioMed), B.Sc (Chiro), B.Chiro

Dr Lichia initially dreamed of discovering a cure for cancer, a goal that led her to complete a Biomedical Science degree at the University of Western Australia (UWA). However, during the demanding 12-hour lab sessions of her final semester, she realised her true passion lay in promoting proactive health and vitality. This pivotal moment sparked her dedication to helping people achieve optimal well-being through education and preventative lifestyle approaches.

Driven by this new purpose, Lichia spent five years at Murdoch University earning her Bachelor of Science in Chiropractic and Bachelor of Chiropractic degrees. It was here that she discovered how chiropractic care offers a uniquely effective, drug-free, and non-surgical approach to health. By focusing on the relationship between the spine and the musculoskeletal system, she found she could naturally support the body's overall function.

Today, she loves nothing more than introducing clients to the life-changing benefits of chiropractic care.

For Lichia, the most rewarding part of her journey is seeing clients accomplish health goals they once thought were out of reach. She is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with people of all ages and walks of life, utilising a wide range of specific chiropractic techniques tailored to each individual's unique needs.

Lichia’s dedication to care also extends globally. In 2007, she travelled to Siliguri, India, with a team of chiropractors to establish field clinics, providing essential medical supplies and chiropractic care to families in remote villages. Returning home from this profound experience, she made it her mission to actively educate her own local community on the vital importance of spinal health.

Having grown up in Perth, Lichia deeply values the active, outdoor lifestyle the city offers. She currently lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband, their three sons, and two dogs. Outside of the clinic, Lichia is a passionate Fremantle Dockers supporter, a lifelong netball player, and stays active with boxing and group fitness classes.
